Hi, my name is Sandy Ralya and I am a national speaker, women’s mentor, and the author of The Beautiful Wife: Focused on Christ, Fulfilled in Marriage. But my marriage hasn’t always been easy. Or good.
Years ago, I walked into church each Sunday morning desperate for help. My marriage was plagued by emotional abuse. However, I was afraid to ask for help. Everyone else’s marriage seemed so perfect. My life appeared beautiful on the outside. A handsome hubby with a great job. Beautiful children. A picture perfect house. Beautiful outside. But inside, a hideous mess.
Over time, I turned to God by reading the Bible and praying. Additionally, I sought guidance from trusted friends, godly mentors and wise Christian counselors. What I learned transformed my life and consequently my marriage.
On my blog at www.beautifulwomanhood.com/blog, I share insights, tips, and encouragement that will help you transform your life and marriage.
The loving support that I received from other women inspired me to become the founder and director of Beautiful Womanhood. Beautiful Womanhood is a Christian marriage mentoring ministry for wives, and the churches that seek to support them.
Since then, my marriage and mentoring testimony has been the focus of interviews on Family Life Today, Focus on the Family, Everyday Relationships, and First Magazine for Women.

On a Personal Note
I’ve been married to my husband, Tom, since 1980 and live near Grand Rapids, Michigan. We have three adult children and a growing number of grandchildren who love visiting ‘Granny and Pa’ on the farm where we’ve lived since 1993. When not writing and speaking, I enjoy shopping at yard sales for all things vintage, cooking, traveling, and drinking really good coffee, (black is best) with my husband.
